Italy: Cycling or Hiking & Italian Culture Tour

Check out the wonderful Tuscan cities of Florence and Siena. Ride amongst hill top towns and vineyards or spend time discovering the beauty and history of the cities. This tour has two separate but overlapping itineraries to enable cyclists and non cyclists to enjoy an amazing trip together:

The Hiking & Italian Culture Tour is perfect for beginners or advanced hikers/walkers interested in exploring nature, Italian culture, history and art on foot. There will be time for challenging your fitness and having a cappuccino at a cafe on a piazza.

The Tuscan Cycling Tour can accommodate a range of cycling abilities and offers the flexibility to combine cycling beautiful biking routes through the Tuscan countryside as well as sampling the best of Italian culture.

England: Cycling Tour of the British Pubs
August 27 – September 7, 2013 (7 day option also available)

Cycling through some of the most picturesque parts of England. You will ride to, and stay in historical pubs and old coaching inns in quaint English towns and villages, experiencing the best of British hospitality with a hand pulled beer at the side of a roaring fire in the evening, after a rewarding day on the bike.

France: ‘Cycling Greats’ or ‘The French Experience’

The perfect trip for friends, partners, or spouses with one who cycles and one who does not, or you can both take part in our ‘Cycling Greats’ package or both follow our ‘French Experience’ itinerary. This tour has separate but overlapping itineraries to enable cyclists and non cyclists to enjoy an amazing trip together.

Cycling Greats: participants get to tackle some of the classic ‘tour climbs’ of the the Alps;  Galibier, Telegraph, Alpe d’Huez (to name just a few,  as well as many other lesser known but equally amazing ‘cols’ around the Rhône-Alpes region.  Then, just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, we take you to the stunning Provence region where you’ll get to ride the beautifulGorges de la Nesque and tackle the infamous Mont Ventoux.

The French Experience: gives participants a unique opportunity to discover the best of the regions we visit:  hiking in the Savoie national parks, a French cooking class, an afternoon at the spa in Aix Les Bains, wine and lavender tours and visits to the historical sites and buildings of each region.  Plus, we schedule in some down time for everyone to visit the towns, tourist sites, cafes, and experience the French culture and gastronomic delights together.
